Pokemon Duel Guide

Pok�mon Duel cheat or Pok�mon Comaster in Japanese, is a strategy game derived from Pok�mon basic games. You will find almost the same attacks but the way of playing is totally different. Described as a board game or chess game, Pok�mon Duel is played with miniatures and aims to reach the opponents to win. Since the game is only available in Japanese and English at the moment, we offer a detailed guide so that you understand the gameplay of the application.

Getting Started

A first NPC named Ros� introduces Carmonte Island to us via a television show. He announces directly that a great championship will be held in order to win an immense building: the Pok�mon Figure Game World Championships.

After that, you find yourself on the plane in the direction of Carmonte. Luca, your rival is calling on you. Multiple choice answers are available in this game but do not really affect the story.

You arrive on the island and the customs ask your name. It is time to choose your pseudo, publicly visible. The staff offers you your first Duel Set composed of 6 Pok�mon, as well as a mask to follow the tradition of the island.

Now is the time to choose your avatar. Several styles of hair and skin colors are available. The tutorial is then launched. Luca explains the basics during your first fight. After the tutorial you will receive a message from the Concierge confirming your registration for the PFG World Championships and giving you a free booster ticket that can be exchanged for a booster in the shop.

The basic rules

The goal is simple: use your team, or deck 6 Pok�mon figures, move them on the board, confront the enemy figures until you reach the enemy line marked with a red flag. If the opposing player reaches your blue flag, the game is over and you lose. The player starting the game is drawn at random.

Before you perform an action, you can click on a miniature and get its details: rank, MP and attacks. Each model has Move Points, or Move Points (MP). During the first action, MPs are reduced to 1.
It is impossible to pass through an enemy figure. Indeed, it is enough to turn the wheel and a random attack is selected, but we will see later that the strategy is present.

A bluish attack represents a dodge, while a red attack is a missed attack. There are also purple and golden attacks which will be explained later.
The Pok�mon who lost combat is repatriated to the Pok�mon Center (at the edge of the board) and is therefore unusable. When 3 Pok�mon are sent to the Pok�mon Center, the first returns to the deck and can only be used on the next turn.
You can encircle an enemy with two of your miniatures. By doing this, no combat is required, you automatically send the opponent to the Pok�mon Center!
You can also use maps or "plates" in English, more or less strong and having very varied effects.
When a duel is won, you get promotion points to go from league to league, but also fragments. Your rank is also changed. If you lose, your rank goes down.
